Lamy Safari Blue
The things I think I can add though, is some point of view from the nib dimensions than the Pilot Varsity. We seemed available for a comparison before I purchased and mayn't get a hold of one.
I became unsatisfied aided by the method nib - it pours ink onto the report. I've recently been focusing on improving my penmanship as well as the ink circulation had been far to fast/thick for me (most likely because I'm composing sluggish and very carefully). The medium nib creates a much wetter and significantly wider range compared to Varsity.
I was let down whenever I got the pen but We knew it had been just a matter-of replacing the medium nib with a finer one. But, exactly how much finer? Having two options rather than attempting to gamble again, i simply ordered the "good" and "Extra Fine" Lamy replacement nibs.
I tried the additional fine nib initially. It definitely solved the issue of my letters bleeding collectively nonetheless it produced a much more thin line than i needed. I noticed it becoming a tremendously small bit scratchy, but still effortless and comfortable to create with; not quite the thing I wanted however.
Next, needless to say, I attempted the "Fine" nib. If you are acquainted the Pilot Varsity and such as the range dimensions, movement, etc. than this is actually the one you desire. It's a bit dryer compared to the Varsity yet still a nice, smooth, dark line.
