French cursive font

...README

This is basically the French Cursive font, a cursive hand-writing font family inside form of the French scholastic running-hand, written with Metafont. This bundle is dated November 9, 2011. Installation - to set up frcursive, you'll want to copy the files in proper locations in order that TeX and Metafont are able to find them. Installation yourself goes such as this, presuming TEXMF could be the base directory people TeX set up (that would be /usr/share/texmf, C:\localtexmf, or something like that like that): - copy the files from the "latex" directory site into TEXMF/tex/latex/frcursive/ - copy the data through the "mf" directory site into TEXMF/fonts/source/public/frcursive/ to make use of the Adobe kind 1 versions, - copy the data from the "type1" directory site into TEXMF/fonts/type1/public/frcursive/ - copy the files through the "tfm" directory into TEXMF/fonts/tfm/public/frcursive/ - copy "frcursive.map" into TEXMF/fonts/map/dvips/frcursive/ - make sure the TEXMF/web2c/updmap.cfg contains the line MixedMap frcursive.map You may need to upgrade TeX's databases by working "texhash" or "mktexlsr". Consumption - The file "frcursive.pdf" provides the paperwork of this LaTeX bundle. Suggestions - Any opinions and recommendations tend to be welcome, as I consider this work to maintain constant (but sluggish) developement. Take a look at website at ! For those of you thinking about appropriate stuff, this work is included in the LPPL license. ChangeLog - 2011/11/09: - various packaging updates - Type 1 variation contained in the circulation 2005/04/16: - changed the codes of link glyphs to your range 0-32 - added all accented letters of T1 encoding - less design sizes 2004/02/02: - added the square brackets and also the slash - included some hinting information - fixed the NFSS description files to make them agree with standard motorists - updated the LaTeX package to give usage of all variants 2003/06/19: - included the Spanish orifice exclamation and interrogation marks - changed the motorist names from "fc*" to "frc*" to avoid clashes with Jorg Knappen's FC sets 2003/04/29: - very first launch on CTAN
